While today marks the last day of this year’s show, there is still lots to explore and uncover. I encourage anyone who hasn’t yet had the chance to visit all the exhibition halls to take full advantage of today to meet with new exhibitors, explore groundbreaking innovations, and experience the full spectrum of what SIAL Paris has to offer.

This morning on the SIAL Talks stage in Hall 5A, join Emily Mayer from Circana for a talk on the consumer sector where she will dive into 2024’s challenging economic landscape and offer insights into how businesses can navigate these pressures.

Next up at SIAL Talks, top industry leaders will offer valuable advice on how to maintain and expand global trade in the face of increasing competition. In this talk on export strategies, speakers from InVivo, Mademoiselle Desserts, and Savencia will share their experiences and strategies for success on the international stage.

For a more interactive experience, don’t miss the Guided Tour, “Start-up: What will I eat in a day in the future?”, which offers a unique opportunity to meet cutting-edge start-ups that are shaping the future of food, including exciting products such as non-alcoholic beers, alternative proteins, and insect-based snacks.

This afternoon, discover the winners of the “2024 Remarkables” awards, given by the fresh fruit and vegetable trade association Interfel. These trophies are presented to original projects in the sector, and are carried out by upstream or downstream professionals. Join them to learn about the initiatives that are advancing the industry.

Finally, we’ll wrap up the day with closing remarks at 4:00 p.m. in Hall 5 with Nicolas Trentesaux, Managing Director SIAL Network, and myself.
