Ripple Foods is diversifying its product range, introducing Ripple Kids Unsweetened Original Milk

This novel addition to the brand’s product lineup is a sugarless variant of its breakthrough product, Ripple Kids Original Milk, launched in 2021. The original version was met with robust acceptance, making it one of the fastest-growing entrants in the refrigerated plant-based milk segment.

The sugar-free milk offering aims to cater to the demand for an unsweetened version of Ripple Kids plant-based milk. It contains 8 grams of plant-based protein, 50 mg of DHA Omega-3s and Choline, with zero added sugars.

The sweet success of Ripple Kids

Ripple Foods CEO Laura Flanagan expressed enthusiasm over the warm reception that Ripple Kids received from parents. The product was termed a game-changer, providing a flavorful and nutritious dairy alternative for children. The need for a product devoid of added sugars was common feedback, prompting the launch of the unsweetened version.

This latest product is the only plant-based milk on the market explicitly designed with kids in mind. It has zero grams of added sugar, 8 grams of plant-based protein for growing bodies, and healthy DHA Omega-3s, critical for brain development. It also has prebiotic fiber for healthy digestion and offers more calcium per serving than dairy milk.

Frances Largeman-Roth, a registered dietitian and nutritionist, highlighted the growing need for dairy alternatives due to the rise of lactose intolerance and dairy allergies among children. The introduction of Ripple Kids Unsweetened Original Milk fills this gap with a blend of taste and nutrition, matching the unique needs of children in their crucial growth stages.

Ripple Kids Unsweetened Original Milk, now available in a 48-ounce bottle, can be found on the shelves of Target and other retailers. The product stands as a testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to providing consumer-requested alternatives.
