SIAL OFF 2024 proposes a list of 60 addresses so that both SIAL visitors and exhibitors can make the most of their experience in the capital when they aren’t at the show grounds. We’ve put together a little sneak peek with three of the top addresses.

Located on the charming rue Mouffetard in Paris’s 5th district, Restaurant Flocon, with its airy Scandinavian-style decor, is the perfect place to sample traditional French bistro cuisine with a fresh modern twist right in the heart of Paris. Opened by chef Josselin Flocon in 2019, Restaurant Flocon features dishes composed exclusively of seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers and responsible fishing. The restaurant’s wine list is composed of wines from sustainable agriculture and features a majority of natural wines. Restaurant Flocon is open for lunch on Friday through Sunday from 12:00-3:00p.m. and for dinner on Wednesday through Sunday from 7:00-11:00p.m.

Located in the heart of Paris, on the l’Île Saint Louis, the Cheese Museum (Musée du Fromage) offers an educational and interactive space for discovering France’s cheesemaking heritage and diverse regions. Encompassing areas that include the culture of cheese, the history of cheese, cheese making, and tasting, the Cheese museum is a dynamic, modern museum that lets you discover the vast world of French cheeses. Beyond its exhibits, the Cheese Museum offers workshops, wine and cheese tasting and making courses hosted by expert craftsmen. The museum also boasts a traditional creamery and cheese shop as well as a gift shop. The Cheese Museum can be reached by metro on line 1 (Saint Paul station), or line 7 (Pont Marie – Cité des Arts station).

The Très Particulier: Sophisticated cocktails in an exclusive setting

Head to Montmartre for a delicious and stylish after-show cocktail at Le Très Particulier. Mixing red velvet and golden foliage, and featuring wallpaper depicting a Garden of Eden, and with the omnipresence of flowers in its design and a glass roof, the Très Particulier is a true extension of the garden. Each cocktail served at the Très Particulier features select ingredients, making it an invitation to a personal and intimate taste journey. The Très Particulier is open every day, does not require reservations, and can be easily reached by Metro on line 12 (Lamarck Caulaincourt and Abbesses stations), or line 2 (Blanche station).
