FCD unveils Roastinstep continuous Roaster

FCD is releasing a new roasting machine, Roastinstep. The commercial 1T per hour machine will be installed in April at the Fontanes processing facility in France. Suitable for nuts, seeds and beans, it uses four times less energy, by recirculating some of the heat it produces. Progress has also been made on upgrades compared to traditional roasters, such as the electrical heater and air extraction system, which contribute to the versatility of the machine, allowing different types of roasts and more flavours.
