Spain out in force at SIAL Paris 2024
SIAL Paris 2024 was marked by a strong Spanish presence, reflecting Spain’s dynamism and importance in the global agri-food sector
With 570 exhibitors, including 14 public bodies, and 11,000 m² of exhibition space, Spain was a key player at the show. The show also attracted some 3,000 Spanish visitors, confirming the growing interest in this international event.
Strong institutional and regional participation
The Spanish presence at SIAL Paris 2024 was structured around a network of public and regional institutions. Federations such as FIAB (Spanish Federation of Food Industries) and FACYRE (Federation of Spanish Chefs and Pastry Chefs) played a leading role in supporting companies and promoting Spanish products. The governments of the autonomous communities of Navarre and Castilla y León, as well as several regional chambers of commerce (Cáceres, Seville, Zamora, among others), also contributed to this collective visibility.
These bodies worked to highlight the richness and diversity of Spain’s agri-food offering, while facilitating commercial exchanges and opportunities for collaboration. This mobilisation demonstrates the importance attached by Spain to SIAL as a strategic platform for conquering new markets.

The example of companies: Litera Meat at the top of the bill
Among the many companies present, Litera Meat stood out with a stand covering more than 200 m². This ambitious scheme enabled the company to welcome customers, suppliers and international experts. For Litera Meat, SIAL represented an opportunity to strengthen its international relations and adapt to changes in the agri-food market.
The confectionery and snacks sector was also well represented, with nearly a hundred companies taking part in the event. This diversity illustrates the vitality of the Spanish food industry, capable of meeting the varied expectations of consumers worldwide.
A key platform for innovation and exchange
Spain’s participation in SIAL Paris 2024 demonstrated the strategic importance of the show for the country’s companies. Leading companies such as Aceitunas Cazorla, Mercadona, El Corte Inglés and Mahou San Miguel made the trip to showcase their products and meet business partners.
As well as simply exhibiting their products, these companies saw SIAL as an opportunity for innovation and international development. By showcasing their products and expertise, they have affirmed their ambition to remain competitive in a constantly evolving sector.
