Aix & Terra goes from strength to strength

The French grocery shop-turned-product manufacturer, presented its two new unique offerings at SIAL Paris 2022.

The Aix & Terra story started with a small grocery shop in Aix-en-Provence. From there, the company founders Marina and Richard Alibert expanded to a workshop in La Drôme Provençale, which sees seasonal harvests from local producers. So popular were Aix & Terra’s products with customers, that the company expanded again, with the development of a manufacturing space in Saulce-sur-Rhône. A restaurant which uses A&T’s products followed, along with a specialised school for chefs, located at the manufacturing site itself.

At SIAL Paris 2022, the company showcased two new interesting products, both available from October 2022. The organic white balsamic and orange peel vinegar blends the tastes of Provence and Italy, as a white balsamic vinegar infused with organic orange peels. The peels themselves are taken from producing Aix & Terra’s organic orange marmalade. “Nothing is lost, everything is recovered,” says the company.

Also on display was the chocolate spread with Montélimar nougat, a collaboration with nougat specialist Chabert & Guillot. The spread stands out thanks to its double texture, somehow both smooth and crispy at the same time. Produced without palm oil, the product can be paired with bread, crepes and other desserts.
