At SIAL Paris 2024, Oleificio Coppini Angelo, long-established Italian brand of extra virgin olive oils, is presenting a new, ecologically-minded brand identity.
Based in Umbria, known as ‘the green heart of Italy’, the Coppini family has been producing olive oil since 1955. This region, famous for its vast olive groves, is the inspiration for the new range, which features 100% eco-responsible packaging and labels illustrated in xylographic style, reflecting the history and unique character of the brand.
But Coppini Angelo’s commitment to the environment goes beyond aesthetics: it uses solar energy to power its facilities, holds ISO 14001 certification in environmental management, and uses recycled and recyclable materials for its packaging. The brand embodies 100% green production that respects the environment and complies with new European regulations on the environmental responsibility of producers. Coppini Angelo is also committed to rational waste management.
Micaela Coppini, CEO and Export Director, sees SIAL Paris as a key event for meeting quality buyers and showcasing the brand’s innovations. In her opinion, even if Italian production volumes are lower than those in Spain, the quality of Italian oil, with its unique and incomparable nuances of flavour, remains an undeniable asset. This expertise, passed down three generations, remains one of the great strengths of Oleificio Coppini Angelo, which continues to preserve its independence as a family-run company.
