Auvernou offers new recipe with festive packaging for Christmas market

The aperitif remains a staple of French culture and has been adopted worldwide as a delicious way to set the scene for socialising.

Auvernou feeds the aperitif market with its four ranges of dry-cured sausage – gourmet, traditional, organic and essentials. The popular French brand presented its tasty Mini Sticks and bite size Mini Snacks at SIAL Paris 2022.

This month, there is a new flavour on the block with a festive theme in time for Christmas. Auvernou’s new Comté and Hazelnut Mini Sticks are pegged to seduce the festive market and prove popular over the winter period following the success of its Emmental flavour. Its popular plain Mini Sticks will also be wrapped in limited edition festive packaging, decorated with snowy mountains and pine trees.

The company used its know-how and creativity to develop a new tasty recipe featuring one of the most popular cheeses in France – Comté – with a soft fruitiness that is difficult to resist. And it blends well with the natural taste of Auvernou’s superior quality dried sausages, the company says.

Like its other recipes, the new Mini Sticks are made at the company’s workshop in Ussel with 92% ingredients from France. This includes 100% high quality French pork and AOP-certified Comté, refined for a minimum of 10 months and finely enhanced by roasted hazelnuts. Add some spices and there is the secret to the new product, marketed as a gourmet addition to an aperitif – whether at home, at the office or for a picnic.

The new product is now available across its distribution network, packaged as nine to 10 sticks weighing a total 100g, and will be widely distributed through large retailers, such as Monoprix, Auchan and Intermarché.
