Frozenly, a website that focuses on frozen vegan foods, has secured investment from venture capitalists and undergone a rebranding.

The site – which launched last year as Frozenly – has been rebranded as Mighty Plant. It sells everything from non-dairy cheese to plant-based fish fingers and vegan pizza from a variety of food brands.

The website’s founders – Becky and Gabriel Osborne – say the focus of the site will continue to be on frozen food, but that by rebranding they have more options to expand in future.

The Osborne’s are also the owners of a dairy-free ice cream brand, Fravocado, which they say was inspired by their son, Rupert, who is lactose intolerant.

“Fast forward a few years to a full production site and a supermarket listing, we then decided that we wanted to try and make buying frozen plant-based products even more convenient,” they say on Mighty Plants’ website.

“We want Mighty Plants to be a platform that showcases the amazing plant-based products from lesser-known brands, alongside the well-established favourites.”

The company states that it sends deliveries using recycled materials produced from old plastic bottles and using “carbon-neutral dry ice”.

Mighty Plants has attracted investment from a venture capital firm called Dismatrix Group, which describes itself as investing in “sustainably-driven, environmentally friendly, yet financially lucrative opportunities”.
