The day after Eid al-Fitr, celebrated this year on Sunday 30 March 2025, is a day when Algerian families extend the festivities by sharing traditional meals and strengthening community ties. A few days after Eid, from 7 to 10 April 2025, the SAFEX Exhibition Centre in Algiers will host Djazagro, the leading trade fair for agri-food production professionals in Algeria and North Africa. This annual event brings together more than 600 exhibitors and attracts around 23,000 trade visitors, providing an ideal platform for discovering the sector’s latest innovations.

Highlights of the 2025 edition

Djazagro 2025 will offer several key events designed to enrich the experience of participants:

  • The Experts’ Agora: This space dedicated to conferences will provide an opportunity to exchange views with specialists on a variety of topics, such as new packaging solutions and automation in the food industry.
  • The Djaz’Innov competition: Initiated in 2022, this competition rewards innovations in equipment, products, services and processes in the agri-food sector, highlighting advances likely to boost the Algerian market.
  • The Djazagro education area: New for this edition, this area will offer training and skills development sessions, essential for professionals wishing to stay at the forefront of developments in the sector.
