For this edition of SIAL 2022, Italy confirms its place among the world leaders of the agri-food sector, with a high level of participation and strong presence across all of the show’s halls.

Indeed, Italian companies are positioned in second place just after France as an exhibiting country.

Despite a complicated international situation since the health crisis, our exports have managed to hold their own and record an overall increase of around 11.5% in 2021 worldwide.

The ITA – Italian Trade Agency, is the government body that coordinates official Italian participation at SIAL. Over an area of ​​2800 m², more than 220 companies from all regions of Italy will treat international visitors to a panorama of the Italian food industry. In total, more than 580 Italian companies are taking part in this event, which testifies to the weight of Italian gastronomy in global food consumption habits.

Each exhibitor in the Italian pavilion is presenting the very best of their territory, with a variety of top-of-the-range products, identified most of the time by quality labels and guaranteeing the consumer a healthy, tasty, authentic product that respects the environment. Sustainability, innovation, quality and traceability are some of the essential elements that make up Made in Italy brands.
